The first of many adventures took us to the Ionian Islands of Corfu, Greece. The excitement was building in our overnight flight from Stanstead, England back in 2001. We were awakened to the flight attendant alerting us that we were about to land in Corfu Town, Corfu. When we opened our shade the first beautiful site we saw was the Holy Monastery of Panagia Vlacherna sitting in the sea. It was the first of many beautiful historic sites to see the week we spent on Corfu; btw (it was also our honeymoon) Hope you enjoy! Please excuse the quality of 20+ year paper photos.
